Shelley Anthony

RESEARCH & OPERATIONS ANALYST

Shelley has an extensive background in research and operations and brings excellent research and analytical skills to the team at Formidable.

Originally from Springfield, Ohio—Shelley has lived and worked around the world for over 25 years as a researcher and marine biologist in such places as the Bahamas and Australia. She was most recently the Senior Aquarist at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher, Kure Beach.

Shelley holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University (Zoology and Freshwater Ecology) and a Master of Science degree in Marine Biology and Ecology from The University of Texas at Austin. She currently lives near the ocean in Wilmington, NC with her son and two cats.
